I missed 1 period so far..2nd is late..i had an xray last weekend..

I was told it was normal to b on bc n miss 1 period..the other wasn't late by the time of the xray..

Let's say I am pregnant:how would that xray affect the baby?

  • minimal raditation. I would say no effect.

  • I am like anon, the effects should be very tiny. I had to have an x-ray whenever I was pregnant when I was about 6 monhs (had bronchitus). Plus my youngest son had alot of medical issues and had close to 50 x-rays in a 9 month time span and he is fine.

  • I had an x ray of my jaw when I was pregnant. They put two lead blankets over me "just to be safe" but I think the concern is more with prolonged exposure.
