Anyone have a full-blooded GreatDane?

We have a nearly 6-month-old Great Dane and are wondering what the best age would be to get him fixed...Any ideas?

  • No sooner than 18 months of age. Giant breed dogs are prone to osteosarcoma more significantly when they are neutered before 18 months. This information comes from my Veterinary background and having years in the breed. Please wait until he is at least 18 months.
