If you HAD to have a dog, would you like a big one, a small one, or a medium one?

I can't stand little snippy yappy dogs. You can never trust them they will lick your hand , wag their tail and turn around and bite you. With a big dog you know where you stand right from the beginning

We had a Rott. She was the sweetest dog.
Of course, we lived on property and she could run. But, if I lived in an apartment, I'd get one of those cute little Yorkies.

I love big dogs, but wouldn't get one... if we get one, I'd love a medium short haired scruffy little mutt =)

i dont like big, drooly, nasty dogs. they come with big poo poo and big messes. i love little lap dogs. but not the kind that will bite you, they loyal kind like a yorkie or a shi tzu (sp?) i would loveee to get one but they dont get along with kids too well.. i also like bull dogs. but the drool. yuck!

OMG! My fiance's cousin has a Shih Poo, a Shih Tzu and a Poodle mix. SO freaking cute, his name is Frijolito (little bean in Spanish). We want to get one for our daughter when she's older.

I like big dogs, my favorite breeds are Labs, pitbull mixes, german shepards, and bloodhounds (they are so cute). I wish I could have a dog, but we cant afford one now, and I'm not sure if I'd feel like cleaning up after one, or if we will continue to live where we are much longer. I miss the 2 other dogs I had, it's tough to replace them.

I wanted a Weimarner, but we dont have the space, so I got a Miniature Schnauzer who is ADORABLE!

I HAVE a big dog, I would like a smaller/medium sized dog. To be exact, I want a sheltie. Eventually I will get one, it'll just be in probably 8-10 years.

I love little dogs :) My family used to raise pekingese. We have an Aussie right now so he's huge to me, but I guess he's medium sized and I love him too :)

Aww..I understand about missing your dog. I'd feel the same way wiithout one of my brood. I have 5 dogs. 3 big dogs, one little/medium dog and one HUGE puppy. I would like to have a little dog, but my husband likes big dogs, so we have big dogs. 2 black labs, 1 yellow lab (the offspring of our 2 black labs, wouldn't you know?), a mix of who knows HOW many breeds that is small/medium and then a 5 month old Great Dane (nearly 6 months) who already weighs 76 lbs. They are just like our other kids and all live in the small house we have. However, we also have 5 acres where they can run around and have fun in. The labs even have a pond to swim in. I'd like a dog that would cuddle with me on my lap, instead I have dogs that root around on the bed until I fall off the edge *laugh*
