  • My lil one is 5 and acted affraid of his room at night for awhile. We made up "magic powder" but it works with liquid too. Get a empty spray bottle with a label on it that says "childs name magic spray" you can add a few drops of Lavender oil to some water. Lavender smells good and has a calming effect. But let her spray the room or closet every night at bed time. Let her keep the spray by her bed, you know for "just in case" or a bottler of baby powder to sprinkle around on the floor, does the same trick.

  • Is she seeing things in her room? Like spirits?

  • Take the door(s) off, take everything out and paint it a pretty color. Have her help you and pick out some nice wallies. Put all the clothes on the same color hanger (like pink) and get some nice storage boxes. Then add some sachets in a pretty scent. Make it a mini walk-in sort of.

By that time, she will probably be over it. If not, try adding a few stick-on lights she can leave on at night inside it.
