Legalization puts law-enforcement resources to better uses.
Our society would be better served if the police directed their efforts away from the activities of consenting adults and toward preventing and solving real crimes involving clear victims and injustices.

  • Yeah. Why not. I think its a lame issue. Personally, I think a woman who goes into prostitution has a huge problem but they don't know it. And men who go to prostitutes are losers who can't get a woman for himself. If you have to buy sex, you are a loser. However, the point is that there will always be screwed up women who will sleep with losers because they need the money. @@ It shouldn't be a crime. Its just dumb.

  • no and it is not legal every where for a reason. how would you actually make it safe? all you have to do is pay the doctor extra money to say that the girls are clean when they are not. so legalizing it doesn't make it safe just makes it easier to get away with.

Young women wouldn't be abused by pimps, and less murders by crazy men.

  • Prostitution is one of the oldest profession. We can't stop it. Legalizing prostitution would prevent underground prostitution that occurs today. Plus taxing it will help the deficit

  • It's up to each state to decide. Do you all REALLY not understand how the US government works?

  • This is a generalized question. I was seeking opinions on it, not on individual state laws. Thank you for your comment though.
