  • What a lot of people do in my area is obtain a job with a pharmacy and the pharmacy will pay for their training if they stay employed with them for a certain amount of time (usually one year).
    It really isn't too difficult. I had to be licensed as a pharm tech when I was Director of Medical Records for a Long-Term Care pharmacy that delivered medications to such facilities. It was a requirement of all personnel and was an easy course and exam to become certified.
    CVS is the pharmacy in my area that does such a progam that I described.
