Who is more selfish and why?

Is it the person who wants to keep and decide what to do with the money they earned. OR is it the person who thinks those who have more should automatically give to those simply because they have less?

  • You could turn that same question around. The man who sees someone in need and decides to horde his money anyway, or the one who chooses to help the person in need. In that scenario your "the one who keeps and decides what to do with his money" when his choice is to horde, would be more selfish.

To state a question with two choices and no context will give you whatever answer it was you were looking for in the first place.

  • Why is it selfish to do what you want with the money YOU earned??

  • If this question pertains to a marriage, then all money and decisions regarding use of the money should be equal regardless of who earns the most. So if one person is the higher income earner and doesn't feel like they should have to get input from the other partner on the usage of it....that person is the selfish party and they need to get some relationship counseling.

  • Marriage should be an equal partnership. Try couples's counseling

  • Anon 3:48 would you consider it OK if your child refused to share any toys with a friend who came over, would you not tell them it is selfish? Seriously, it is situational, that was my original point, when you don't state context and state the question in a biased manner, you will get the answer you are looking for.
