8 months pregnant, baby hiccups

are they more frequent than our hiccups when there inside because i get the thump like shes havin the hiccups but so many so quick?

  • Those are still "hiccups". She's just practicing her breathing. Her rate of respiration (okay, so she's not really breathing, but I don't know a better word) is a LOT faster than a grown adult, so don't worry about it.

  • Yep, it sounds like baby hiccups. My oldest had them all the time when he was in utereo. Whereas my middle son has never had them in his entire life, to my knowledge, I am a ATHM, so I am around 98% of the time. My youngest had them sometimes too.
    I do find it very weird that Mark my middle ds has NEVER had them.

  • My daughter used to get those in utero, it's the weirdest feeling lol. She used to have them for hours. She still gets hiccups alot, but they don't last for hours anymore thankfully.
