How do you clean the inside part of a self cleaning oven?

I know you have to lock it and set it to the self cleaning cycle....but then what?

  • just watch it, make sure it is working, it will run the cycle, then check it to be sure it worked. my old one did that and i never spilled in it so when we moved i saved the $4 and didnt buy that feature and now i spill all the time in it... ugg. yeah it jsut does it on it's own, if it doesnt work, try easy off.

  • run the clean feature, remove the charcoal like residue if there is any

    baking soda and water worked for me. Make a paste , let it sit a few minutes and wipe clean
    Might have to wipe a little bit more with clear water
    try not to leave to much a residue
