Diaperless baby???? Is it possible?

What's the deal with this "Diaperless baby" thing I've seen recently? Is it really possible or do people have poopy houses because of it? Anyone who does it?

  • It is possible, and there are books written on the subject. I used to live next to a lady who did it. She started when her son was 8 months old. It is all about watching your childs signals, and understanding when they have to go. After some training, as I understand it, you can make the baby go when you make a certain sound with your mouth.
Personally, I would never do it with my children. Babies have other developmental issues they have to deal with at that age, and I don't think they should be expected to be diaperfree too.

  • I heard you make the baby go in the toilet or a bucket you carry around just by watching their facial expressions...sounds difficult.

  • Elimination communication.

It's not potty training the baby, it's potty training the mother.
