Self control, impulses and temper...6 year old

Does anyome have any issues with these types of behavior? My son exhibits them in school...not outside because we know how to deal with him. He's been to neurologists and psychologists and they ruled out everything. We are working hard with him and his IEP is great for September as well. Just wanting some mature and experienced feedback..

  • adhd or anything. Like I said we've taken him to all kinds of specialists, etc. He is very smart..does extremely well academically. No focus or hyperactivity issues.

  • If he does well academically, why does he have an IEP? what's the cert? Have you ever tried the book/program Love & Logic for Parents?

  • Bi-polar? when you said you can handle him... what do you do.... you might look more at a gifted program in his IEP-keep him moving during the day... think outside the box... some behaviors are just due to lack of routine... maybe he will do better if you try a scheduled routine... right down to the minute. let him help set this system up with you.... he will feel the control he might be needing. good luck... come by and chat if you need to...
