ok tomorrow i'm going with my hubby and his family to vacation to San Antonio (which is about 5 hours away) is that healthy for the baby the ridin i mean and is there anyway i can stay comfortable for that long in a truck.
p.s i'm 6 months. thanks

  • It's fine for the baby as long as you stay hydrated and stop to walk around/stretch every hour or so.

  • They say you need to get out and walk no more than every hour and a half. But if you've got the front seat you should be able to stretch your legs out pretty good every once in awhile. And play Air conditioning commando! You are in control of those buttons!

  • Assuming you are not high-risk, you'll be fine as long as you stay hydrated and stretch once in a while. I wouldn't recommend being in a car that long after your 7th month though...especially if you are having contractions at that point. You should be fine! Make sure you have water/gatorade with you and have a great trip!
