  • For you or baby? Sometimes gently pushing baby's knees up to chest helps them pass gas.

  • Lay the baby in a football hold ( on your forearm, tummy down). This helps push the gas out.

  • Why is baby gassy? Breastfeed? Formula? Bottle? Try burping more often, different types of bottles, different formula, etc.

  • I'd say try other methods before you go to giving you baby medicines. You know they CAN become dependent on that kinda stuff.

Breasfeeding: watch what you are eating, no spicy food, stay away from "gasy" foods, ie broccoli, garlic, etc

    Formula: burp them more
Otherwise try putting their legs to their chest. patting their butt, lay them down on their stomach over your legs and move them back and forth gently.

  • baby massage is great for that kind of stuff.
look up some baby massages on google.

just make sure you talk to your baby while your doing it and almond oil is good for making massages easier.
