I breastfeed my two month old. At night she eats for ten minutes every 2-3 sometimes even 4 hours. During the day she eats every 1 and a half hours for only 3 to 4 minutes. Is that enough? If I give her formula when we go out (I won't breastfeed in public), she only eats one ounce.

  • Is she peeing and pooping? That is the way to really tell if she is getting enough. My oldest was a little pig and was finished nursing in less than 10 minutes, five mins for each breast. He was growing and had plenty of wet and dirty diapers, he was just efficient at getting his fill.
I would pay attention to her weight and how many diapers she is going through and be content.
    Good Luck!

  • If you are changing plenty of diapers she is fine.
