My son will be 8 months old soon

and I'm starting to think about what it's going to be like when he's a year old. I know that he can have whole milk then, but how much will he need? Is it less than how much formula that he has now (three 7oz bottles per day)?

  • You will probably start to give up the bottle - that is what is recommended at 12 months. As far as how much they will need... well, my son is 26 months old & we still only have whole milk. That will be a question to ask the doc at his 1 year check up.

  • Well he drinks the last of his milk in a sippy to start to get him used to it. I was just wondering how much whole milk we he be drinking at 1 year per day?
