  • Then he is too young and not ready to potty train. I don't know why parent force potty training on kids who are not ready. Damn if you don't want to change diapers, then DON"T have a baby. Geeze!

  • anon 3:23 no need to be a bitch, maybe she thinks he's ready, it is HER child after all, not yours...

i wouldn't force him to use the potty, but still offer to take him every hour, even let him try to pee standing :) GL

  • Does he understand the purpose of the potty? Remember, he's been basically peeing his pants for two years, so this whole "peeing in a bowl" thing is a bit strange.

Just take it slowly. Don't expect to have him fully trained in a matter of days or hours. It might happen, but don't expect it.

Who died and made you "Queen of the Potty Training"?

  • He's probably not ready yet. Give it another month and try again. We potty trained in 1 week when she was 26 months old. To potty train you have to give up the diapers and pullups except for bed time or it will take much longer.

  • They will train when they're ready. It doesn't matter of the age. Some are ready at 16 months, some not until they're three.
