False Negative...

I've heard of a false positive, but what is a false negative?..and how do they happen?

  • Most likely either a faulty test or not enough HcG in your system for the test to detect.

  • I've never heard of a false positive, only a false negative- from your hormones not being high enough when you test.

  • I've heard of a false positive, my cousin had one when she was TTC. False negatives can be because there isnt enough HCG for the test to tell yet
