need craft idea

I am trying to put together a 3 day get away for the seniors at our church. I need to come up with 3 to 4 crafts for the laddies to make. I can't have anything to difficult, however I want to come up with something they would enjoy and would be happy having the craft in their home. If anyone has any suggestions I would sure appreciate it.

  • 1. This site will show you how to make windchimes.
    2. You can also go to a craft store & pick up Wooden Bird houses & have them paint them~I've painted 2 of them with my son & really enjoyed it. They came out really nice!
    3. Decorating a photo frame would also be something else that would be good for a man or woman.

  • Greeting cards. you can bring different stamps and scrapbook material. They could make birthday or thank you cards.

  • Paint a flower pot.

Fill out a page or poster about themselves, (favorite color, food, place to travel, age they got married) then have them decorate it with pictures or artwork (could cut out stuff from magazines or you could have art supplies). Would make a nice keepsake.

    Decorate a picture frame.

Here are some ideas for kids, they would work for seniors too!
