Does white chocolate have caffeine in it?

Just curious. I'm nursing and can't have chocolate cause my daughter is very sensitive to the caffeine in it--my MIL bought white chocolate macadamia cookies and I want one SOOOO bad (they're my fav!) but I worry about the white chocolate. Does it have caffeine in it?

  • From what I am seeing by googling, white chocolate has "little if any caffeine." Sounds good to me!

  • Unless the caffeine was added, no, white chocolate shouldn't have any caffeine in it because it's not really chocolate.

  • Seeing white chocolate isn't even chocolate, I doubt it has any caffiene in it.

  • ditto....white chocolate isn't chocolate. it just has the fats and lots of added sugars and milk.

at that rate it would be the extra sugars to worry about.

  • White "chocolate" is not chocolate and should be reprsented as white confection. No caffiene.
