Don't you just love Corrie Ten Boom?

----“I have a glove here in my hand. The glove cannot do anything by itself. But when my hand is in it, it can do many things. True, it is not the glove, but my hand in the glove that acts. We are gloves. It is the Holy Spirit in us who is the hand, who does the job. We have to make room for the hand so that every finger is filled.”

She makes everything so simple, huh

What do you think of this quote?

  • Oh Cinnamon-mom, you just posted about one of my heroes! I LOVE her,and her sister, so MUCH! Her book "The Hiding Place" is one of my all-time favorites. To have gone through what they did,and have never lost their faith in God, in fact, increasing their faith, and sharing with others. I could just go on gushing about Corrie, but I'm sure you know,as well. Thanks for a positive post, about a true, beautiful woman of God!

  • Ditto to Cinnamon

I read The Hiding Place this last year too. Wow, that's a life changer...I still think about that part where they were grateful for the fleas.

  • Yes, even the fleas had a purpose!!!!

  • The hiding place rocked! I hadn't read the book but I watched the movie. Very moving and though it was hard to watch, it's one you can't ignore.

  • "The Hiding Place" was required reading my senior year of High School - I thought it was a wonderful book.

  • She was one of my heros as a small child growing up. I consider the kind of faith that she has to be rare among people.
