  • 60 to 100 beats per minute is normal for any adult, a pregnant women will have a higher heart rate and increased blood pressure due to the extra volume from the baby. 86 is fine, and expected..

  • expected for what? during pregnancy? i was just seeing everyones opinion since you get yours checked regularly, but i just read that around 70 is normal for a woman (resting heart rate) and anything between 80-90 is normal for pregnancy but will go higher in 2nd and 3rd trimester.

  • yep! your heart rate will be a lil higher during pregnancy because your blood volume increases, so your heart has to pump a lil harder than normal.
