I just found out through a dollar tree test! So how accurate are they?

  • Typically they're just as good. Some tests require more pregnancy hormone to register than others. That may be why one test said negative while another said positive. However if you got a positive off of a pregnancy test chances are likely that you ARE pregnant. They ALL test HCG. Some just require more than others. Make sense? in other words if you have a $1 test and it requires the SAME amount of hormone as a $5 test then the only thing you're paying more for is the packaging and/or the namebrand.

  • I would say if u get a positive on ANY test, its right, the only time I would worrier is if you are having MAJOR pregnancy symptoms and the dollar tree test comes out negative, than I would get a more expensive test, or see my OB. CONGRATS mama!!!
