question about pumped milk...

I'm making a 7 hour drive and.I'm bringing some frozen milk packed in ice...if it starts to thaw at all do I have to use it within 24 hours? Or if its still mostly frozen is it ok to put back in the freezer?

  • Get some dry ice and pack it with that. That will keep it frozen. Otherwise, pop it in the freezer and make sure you check it before you feed it to the baby.

  • I think that you are going to pack so much ice around the milk you might not be able to use when you want it. Have a safe trip.
