  • it depends on your child. Mine was drinking 5 oz every 3 hours by two months. My friends baby is currently 2 months and drinks 4 oz every 3 hours. Another friends daughter drank 6 oz every 3 hours by 6 weeks of breast milk.

  • when my daughter was 6 weeks, she was eating about 4-5 ounces every 2-3 hours, and sleeping through the night. Now at 9 months, she gets 3 8 ounce bottles, with lots of food in between :)

  • My daughter is almost 8 weeks and drinks 8oz every 4-5 hours. I asked her pediatrician if that was too much and he said as long as she keeps it down and isn't spitting/throwing up then she will be fine.

  • My Baby consumed about 3oz every 3 hours at that age.I asked the same question from my pedia and she said normally they follow a certain formula ( 2oz X month) but give her as much as she/he can tolerate.
