Don't call me "white bread"

I know this is going to open up a whole can of worms, BUT....
I was reading a question earlier: http://www.cafemom.com/answers/255285/more_take_on_ghetto?cat_id=&answer_added#answer
and saw the term "white bread", What I wanna know, how come black/african americans believe that it's ok to call us "Crackah's" and "Honkeys" but get offended with the "N" bomb? I mean really, this irritates the crap out of me!

  • in my house we use other descriptions for people besides race, sexual preference etc
    example
    guy manager at supermarket
kids said something about the gay guy that runs the grocery store
i asked if they could describe him using other words
and they did come up with a bunch
wild hair always changing it, makes funny jokes and nice to everyone etc

you can only control what goes on in your own home and life
if others are racist, well what can you do?

  • Racism is wrong in every race! But unfortunately we can not change others. Just take the time to teach your children to love and respect everyone even those who are racist. I'm sorry you were hurt.

  • Not all black people think it's ok. Just like how not all white people think it's ok to use the N word. you're lumping all black people in one group and that is not fair eithier.

  • And it's not fair that black people "lump us all into one race" either, but it happens.
