Is it normal for my one year old to only have 2 teeth?

My daughter is 1 years old and only has her two bottom teeth...she had them at 8 months old.My other two children had a mouthful by now.Should I be concerned?

  • Every child is different. My son had no teeth until two weeks after he turned two the he got 8 within 2 days!

  • My son got his first when he was 11 months, by one he had two. Now he is 18 months and only has 6! Each kid is different, no need to worry unless your doc says otherwise.

  • nahh, my daughter got her first four on her 1st b-day then none for a few months. at just over 2 she's finally getting the four next to her front teeth (after at least one of for big molars came in!)

  • My DD celebrated her first birthday with no teeth! Some kids just get them later than others, she is now 3 and has lots of teeth!

  • my bff son was 17 months when he cut his first tooth. all kids are different

  • My doc says 20 teeth in 20 months or all by the age of three dont stress!!
