Are irregular cycle after breastfeeding normal?

I just stop breastfeeding last month and i had my cycle last month, my daughter will be 10 months old next week. Ive had a cycle every month Sense i had her but they are all over the place 37,32,26,29 and now am at 34th day and no cycle. is this normal? My husband and i always use condoms .

  • Anything is "normal" while breastfeeding... or you might be pregnant. Theres no way to tell unless you take a test.

  • Yeah, I got pregnant while breastfeeding, even with an irregular cycle. Just take a test to make sure, then if still nothing, see a dr! Are you any hormonal bc? The pills helps regulate cycles, if you need to go there, thats a good option. Good luck!

  • I didn't get my period until 6.5 months after I had her.....while BF-ing. I didn't get it until she started wanting a bottle and not a boob. Now its whenever it wants......it's all in your hormones!!!!!

  • Breastfeeding causes changes in your ovulation. A good percentage of people DON'T get their period while they breastfeed because of this. If you're majorly concerned, always check with your doctor.
