When does light spotting with the occasional small clot become an issue?

I'm 9 wks and have had spotting on and off since I found out at wk 6. Went to Dr. yesterday and they did ultrasound and heart rate was 160, yolk sac good, placenta good. Said he saw little bleeding into the placenta but wasn't worried. Later in day passed couple small clots (2-4 mm) and another today. When should I really worry?

  • 2-4 mm is absolutely minute. you're obviously worried so call the doctor and if it ever comes with cramping or nausea or other pains go to the ER
