Please tell me when I will be able to go to the bathroom with out someone at the door asking me "what are you doing?"

I mean come on guys really........

  • when they are older, I promise, they stop coming to the door, they know what you are doing in there and they dont want to talk to you or about it while you are in there.....hang in there, it may seem like yrs before they stop, but it will......eventually :)

  • Never, If its not the kids its my dh. So pretty much never. Unless like frogbaby said your home alone.

  • I never let my kids in the bathroom with me but they still stand outside whining about something or tattling or wondering where I am. And they are 9, 7 1/2, 6 1/2 and 3. As soon as I go into the bathroom they are there yelling about something. It's one of my biggest pet peeves of parenting.

  • When they all move out and are on their own? Mine is 13 and still bothers me. I can't even take a shower without him bugging me.
