Birth Control options?

My son is 15 months old and he still breastfeeds. I was wondering what kind of birth control I can go on while I am still breastfeeding?

  • Get a diaphram! No hormones. No side effects. No history of PID, infertility or class action suits.

  • The Depo shot (just learned about this one) and the mini pill are the only hormonal things you can take. You have to be on birth control (if you get ones with hormones) that have no estrogen. However, you could also get the Paraguard IUD, a diaphram, sponge, cervical cap, condoms, learn natural family planning, etc.
