Any good tips to have a good/rest night? I heard milk is good anything else?

  • Melatonin is the hormone that your body produces to help you sleep when you are in a dark room; too much of it makes you groggy.

    I prefer valerian root (hops, like in beer); it does not leave me feeling groggy in the morning and I get a restful sleep.

  • my mom's doctor told her to drink a glass of red wine before bed and that should help. She was not happy. She never drank alcohol so it wasn't easy to get her to do it but she did and she slept well.

  • Melatonin. You can get it at Wal Mart, or supplement/vitamin section of most grocery stores. It comes in 1mg, 3mg and 5mg that I know of. 3mg is all I need to for a good nights sleep.
