What side dishes do you eat regularly?

For those who don't eat boxed foods, what do you make instead of lipton type noodles?

  • rainbow chard, zucchini, baked potato, corn on the cob

  • Mushrooms sauteed in butter and garlic ohhhh yummy. Also, white rice (NOT minute rice) with red bell pepper, garlic, a little salt and oil, and onion added to it. When we eat the rice, we usually eat black beans made in a crock pot with fresh cilantro, garlic, and salt. As you can tell, we love garlic hahaha. We also eat a lot of corn and green beans.

  • you can basically cut and put any vegetable in a skillet with olive oil for a side dish.

  • Mashed sweet potatoes drizzled with butter & honey & sprinkled with cinnamon, baked beans, oven fried potatoes, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli, peas, corn, glazed carrots, green beans, baked potatoes, wilted spinach salads or fresh tossed salads, coleslaw, chopped veggies added to rice cooked in chicken broth, macaroni salads, bruschetta or garlic bread, Waldorf salad, fresh fruit salads, homemade rolls, scalloped corn, shredded carrot salad, marinated carrots, muffins (usually with soups or stews)

  • Mashed potatoes, fried potatoes, rice, buttered garlic noodles. Veggies, pasta salad, lettuce salad.

  • Egg Noodles are a staple in our house. Rice is another option. In the summer, Corn on the Cob or fruit salad. Macaroni and cheese.

  • Salad because it's easy, so we have that a lot. We also have steamed green beans a lot, too because I love them. My husband probably gets sick of them but too bad.
