Work from home??

I want to thank everyone for being so welcome to Cafe Mom. I am a newcomer and it has been a joy to come to a site that is honest and helpful. I am a stay at home mom and my husband has been laid off. I would like to work from home but have searched the internet and haven't come up with any ideas of how to make money at home. Please if you have any please let me know. I am desperate.
Thanks again for being so welcoming to me. MsJenni

  • HI girl. I am so glad that you are finding yourself around here. The groups and ladies are great.
I have my own home business with Ameriplan. You get great tax deductions because it's a home business and the pay scale is amazing.
They offer us Daily Pay-Benefits-5 websites-back office to run our business-Training and support and discounts at retailers nationwide.
They are a 17yr old Discount benefits Co and offer amazing plans that people really need right now!! You can go to my site if you want to look around.
Good Luck with your search and you should look me up and we can chat sometime!!! God Bless

  • Oh wait I forgot to tell you that you don't have to cold call or sell with Ameriplan!! That was a big thing with me. And we are accepted at Target, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Lens Crafters and Pear Vision. With over 400,000 providers nationwide.

  • Hello, You will find alot of business on cafemom, but youwill find a few work at home jobs; such as the one i do with Procard International.

We help people enroll into medical discount plans that fit their family needs, in some cases that may include some pets.

Unlike work from home businesses there is no charge to start a career with Procard International. You can look into our careers by clicking here.

  • I am a stay at home mom and have a 22 month old son. I joined CEO Moms awhile back and I absolutely love it. I work with an amazing group of moms who are very dedicated in helping other moms work from home and becoming financially independant and prosperous. The training is free and the support is unlimited!! I don't have to sell anything, keep inventory, or do parties. It is a very fun and flexible business and I love the fact that I can work when I want and still be there for my son.

    Check out my website

I would love to talk to you and give you more info so you can do the same!!

  • You can search for jobs that match your skillset and have a telecommute or remote option. Do you have a former employer you could work for remotely? If you have a computer with high speed internet & Microsoft Office Pro & have at least intermediate MS Office skills, you should be able to find work as a virtual assistant (VA). For more information, go to
Do you have a skill or experience that you can turn into a home based business? I have a friend who makes children's hair accessories in her basement & sells them to boutiques around the Midwest. My husband runs a handyman business from our home. I work from home with two lines of business; I do freelance bookkeeping & business organization; I also do career & job search coaching. I am always happy to help cafemoms (and dads) with resumes, cover letters, job search strategy & interview preparation. Feel free to contact me directly –Robin
