I am confused.........

What is the dif between isolated and scatterd thunderstorms?

  • Isolated means in one specific spot.

  • Both of them mean, you might get rain or you might not get rain. That's how I see it.

  • Isolated means that one might crop up at any time due to conditions. Scattered means that the whole region will most likely have many storms but they won't everywhere and where you are they may avoid you completely.

  • It probably means you are like me and live in GA and your weatherman is just tossing out one or the other just to be on the safe side.. : )
