911 Caller in Gates vs Cambridge Police NEVER stated race in her call.

She was just being concerned citizen. Who else thinks GATES is the over-reacting racist in this case?

  • How is he being racist? We'll know exactly what was said after the tapes are released, there's no point speculating until then.

  • He is not overacting at all, and by definition can NOT be a racist (look it up), Dr. Gates is a well known and well respected (by AA's) educator, historian etc. Cambridge police should have known who he was especially someone who taught racial profiling courses! And the fact a color description was not stated is proof that he was being racial profiled, producing his ID should have been enough. AA's on this campus have made several complaints throughout the years about how they and consistently harassed and asked to give proof of residency by the Cambridge police. This time they harassed the right one!

  • I think the REAL truth will come on in due time. By the police report, Gates did over react. The other officers (of diverse racial backgrounds) reported nothing wrong with what the officehad done. So, once all this plays out, I think the officer will be cleared of any wrong doing.

  • Gates is playing the race card, how was the officer supposed to know it was his house? He was doing his job and Gates should have cooperated.

  • Professor Sh-tstirrer using a race card? He's known to be a sh-tstirrer, what comes around goes around. The charges should have NEVER been dropped.

  • Gate's played the race card and Obama was the one acting "stupidly" by even commenting like he did sooo tacky and he could of caused an uproar.
