  • Basically the Government will have a firm say in establishing minimum level of coverage (for the ind) and level of care that Dr's are allowed to perform on the individual based on what a computer data/records system deems appropriate level of care.

  • All of the above is bs. Anyone who wants to keep their private insurance can. If you have no insurance you will be able to join the government plan that will be like Medi-cal or Medi-care.

  • Which is lovely that medicade lol.A damn wreck because the government get's control of something and to hell it goes.Actually within the bill it does spell out that anyone who leave's a job will have to go on the govy health plan. There is alot to the bill as Carpy said but there is no way private insurance will be able to keep competeting it will end up history. Why not fix what is already in place why not fix the issues with medicade and medicare.Adding another government program is only going to compound the problem.Over what? The exaggerated number of those without? YES the number is exaggerated there is a good perecentage of illegals included in it and people who choose to not have health insurance.Obama exaggerated the number even more the other day he added another million when he was speaking lol.Anyway,I have some info in my journal's if you want to check them out.

  • In the stimulus bill, they ALREADY passed creating a nationwide medical database to contain EVERYONE'S medical records in one Federal system. Think about that for a minute.

And they ALREADY passed an agency which is to make a list of treatments, how much they cost and how effective they are, statistically.

Now, put those two together and you get a chillingly powerful bureaucracy which can make regulations about how young you have to be to qualify for this or that treatment. ... or whether you qualify since your parents had heart problems or high blood pressure.

The bill requires everyone to buy health ins - just like we must have car insurance. It will not be "free" as some people say. You will be paying a monthly premium. ...
