  • 98.6 is normal temp for adults, children and infants....

  • 98.6 F to 99.8 F. Over 99.8 indicates fever and should be reported to your ped asap.

  • If you are doing an under arm temp 97.8- 98.9 would be a normal range... too cool, (first try other armpit) add a blanket, too warm take off a layer and recheck later. If the temp was over 100.5 then it's fever and at age needs to be seen by a doctor.
    If you do rectal temps the normal range would 98.6-99.9

  • my doctor said normal for a baby is 99.5. and if they are warmer than 100.5 call them
