  • No, I dont think so. He said the Police officer acted stupidly, that doesn't apply to the officers race, appearance or what kind of shoes he was wearing. It mean that his actions were stupid. And IMO I agree. I don't think as a President, he should have said that, its definitely going to be one of those things he wished he wouldn't have said but its all said and done.

  • obama was pretty clear in his ideologies way before nov.4th.
what were the reasons she voted for him to begin with?
he's doing exactly what i thought he would be doing, why are so many surprised?
i don't think it was his rush to judgement that will cost him voters, i think without a teleprompter we get to see him shoot from the hip and see what he really is.
the continual water trickling of downward poll favorability as we see him unscripted will cost him voters.
but he doesn't care, he's done what he wanted to do already. now it's vacation time.

  • Obama like to rush on EVERYTHING.. To judge people, to enact massive stimulus, to shove health care down our throats..  Obama made this issue about race before ALL the facts were out. Now he looks like an idiot.

  • Obama was right the first time.

I don't know if the police officer arrested Gates because of the Harvard professor's race. A lot of white people would say that if they mouthed off to a cop, they too would be arrested.

But one thing is clear: Gates did not violate any law. Under Massachusetts law, which the police officer was supposedly enforcing, yelling at a police officer is not illegal.

There are clear decisions of the Massachusetts courts holding that a person who berates an officer, even during an arrest, is not guilty of disorderly conduct. And yet that is exactly what Gates was arrested for.

The Massachusetts statute defining "disorderly conduct" used to have a provision that made it illegal to make "unreasonable noise or offensively coarse utterance, gesture or display," or to address "abusive language to any person present." Yet the courts have interpreted that provision to violate the Massachusetts Con

  • I have to question why she or anyone else voted for him to begin with. Even Hillary would have been a better choice.

  • Haha grly. It is tough to swallow but its true. AT least she would have had Bill backing her and compared to OBama he is a conservative.
