"No hate crime" say police

Someone threw a brick thru her window with a note attached saying, "Keep Eastside Black. Keep Eastside Strong." It landed in her 4 year old son's bedroom. However police say it cannot be considered a hate crime because the victims are white.

  • rac·ism (rszm)
    1. The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others.
    2. Discrimination or prejudice based on race.

Being racist is looking down upon another race b/c one feels that their race is superior or better. Therefore MOST minorities feel that they cannot be racist b/c it's not about feeling superior. Most white ppl who are discriminatory against minorities are b/c they feel they are better than them. That being said I do feel that this was a case of DISCRIMINATION based on their RACE and it should be treated as a hate crime.

  • No suprise. Is there any doubt that it is the open-minded tolerant, loving and compassionate leftists who are the real racists in America today?

  • Just WOW...but yeah I am not really surprised.I mean things like this happen time and again and are rarely ever pegged "hate crimes." You bet your arse though had it been a note saying keep such and such white thrown through a blacks window it absolutely would be a hate crime then.

  • Let someone throw a brick throuh one of my children's bedroom window's with such a note.I would not bother worrying about getting it abled a hate crime i'd commence to produce justice on my own.

  • One woman her on CM posted in her journal that black people can't be considered racist, because the are a minority. Obviously, she isn't the only one who feels that way.

  • An obvious crime committed solely because of the womans race, yet not considered a hate crime. Gee, who are the "minorities" now?
