help!!!! with my office plant

I recently replanted and add new plants to a window box type planter to put on shelf above my desk at work and now I have all these gnats lying around. what can I put on the plants to get rid of that gnats that won't hurt the plants?

  • o that sounds like fungus gnats that came from the dirt you used. you could fill a vase or small bottle halfway with apple cider vinegar and sit it near the plant. that will attract them and they will eventually fall in there and die. use a bottle or vase with a narrow neck and bigger bottom so they can't just fly back out.

  • spray raid around plant and keep ammonia in a cup near by.
