  • 4 years each term with a 2 term limit. Same as president.

  • I agree, it's too long. Unfortunately, a special election will just cost us MORE money to put in someone who will be in office for less than a year before the regular election.

    Best we can hope for is getting Arnie to resign. That would put John Garamendi in office, which some may not feel is optimal.

    We've reaped what was sown in the recall a few years back. Things would have been a LOT better had we just swallowed the medicine back then to balance the budget.

    on the good side...I just got my first registration renewal under the new fees, and it wasn't NEARLY as bad as I'd dreaded. Not even $100 more than last year's registration.
