Can babys start teething at 3 months?

My DS has been drooling up a storm, and chewing on everything..he also has little bumps underneath his gums. Is it possible for him to be teething already??? I thought they didnt start teething until 6 months

  • Oh yeah! My son had his 1st tooth at around that age. Some babies are even born with a tooth or 2.

  • Oh, it's more than possible, some babies are BORN with a full set of teeth completely visible! A friend of mine, her son had all of his baby teeth, including 2nd year molars, by the time he was fifteen months old. My son got his first tooth at about four months or so. But he had those bumps on his gums for a good month or more before they actually came through. The first ones like to tease you for awhile first.
