  • Mine never liked being swaddled (screamed until unwrapped even in the hospital) and always had blankets over them.

  • They make little straight jacket type swaddling blankets that you can velcro or something. Personally I would NOT use a comforter unless that baby could roll and move his head side to side, I would be worried that they would get under there and then . What about a sleep sack? My YDS is 11 months old and we still use a sleep sack. Otherwise, you and your baby will adjust.

  • Mine hated being swaddling too, we've used blankets on both kids since birth.

  • My guy was swaddled until about 4 months, when he started rolling over. We've used sleepsacks until he was 9 months, as he outgrew them and the weather where we are is warmer. Now he sleeps in longsleeved PJ's without footies

  • NEVER use blankets on an infant that small. I dont know if people are hiding under rocks these days or what but its a big hazard. Unless you don't care about your childs well being do whatever the heck you want.

  • Mine didn't like to be swaddled either. I just put her in footed soft outfits to sleep.
