11 month old with white spot underneath toungue?????

I just noticed yesterday that my 11 month old son has a white spot/ lump on the peice of skin underneath the toungue.

He's not acting any different or acting in pain... what could it be? Should I be worried?

  • He is breastfed.
Doesnt seem to bother him when he is eating or nursing. And he is acting normal.

  • Call his pediatrician...sounds like the beginning of thrush...the earlier you catch it the easier to treat and as messy and nasty as it is...follow through on treating your nipples too...My sil didn't and her son got it real bad. Good Luck!
