what exercises were painful (6 weeks) after your c section?

I'm creating a post baby weight loss plan for a client of mine who's due in late august.I understand 6-8 weeks after the surgery is when a mother can start to workout but I'm wondering what positions specifically I should completely stay away from. Thank you!

  • She should consult her doctor. Mine told me not to lift anything heavier than my baby.

  • I wouldn't do anything that has to do with her abdominal, unless she feels up to it and/or doctor says it alright. I would just do some upper body & lower body (i.e. walking, squats). Nothing that involves jumping and/or ab workout.

  • Definitely nothing with twisting the torso - no golf or tennis. And not even cross punches or hooks, if you're doing cardio kickbox type things.
