Did you know that Obama wasn't the first president who had black heritage?

Appearances can be deceiving. Barack was not the first president who was of black heritage. Several of our president had black ancestry. It is a social perception of what is black that defines what people consider "black". In fact, Bill Clinton was named the first "black" president by the Congressional Black Caucus.

  • haha, My dad called him the first black president, never understood why. Maybe because of the whole, getting head thing, I dont know I thought it was dumb. But the first hispanic superior court judge may be instated very soon. very exciting, im not hispanic but I still like that and it shows that all of america, not just blacks, hispanics, or minorities are on the uprise, but so are the rest of the people and its a good sign and also why so many people love it here

  • I guess the point is that every time you see the black/white issue some people need to be reminded that because not liking who our president is has nothing to do with his "color". We have had several "black" presidents. It is what the men in office do as a president that determines whether or not they are liked.

By the way first Anon. Not everyone who is answering Q's has been here, or seen the same post 20 times. But you must only think of you. SELFISH!!
