  • you can check out sun records tours, the peabody duck walk, beale street was always a fave in the evening, BBKing has a great restaurant on beale, you can check out mud island, elvis's house, the memphis hard rock cafe is awesome, Beale is not as dangerous as it looks! the MLK museum and if you'd like to drive a bit-just go to Tunica or head to Ground Zero the blues club that Morgan Freeman owns. Paula Deen has a new restaurant in Tunica at the Harrah's casino ( i think) Tunica is more family friendly than downtown memphis, it's alot of park and walk.
you need to be very careful downtown though, just a heads up.

  • Memphis has a wonderful Children's Museum. Just google it. I went as an adult and had a blast! There's also the Pink Palace, which is a neat museum with an IMAX theater.
