Bringing up children becomes easier and easier with each year with them. There is some trying times, depending onl how intellegent and stubborn the child or children are. The more the merrier.

  • I am 47 year old mom of two, ages 20 & 24. I am also full time step mom to two small male whirlwinds ages 3 & 4.

I have less patience these days, plus I get more exhausted a lot easier. My health was better when I was younger, since I was thinner and had not developed type 2 diabetes then.

Although on the plus side, the newer up-graded husband (my son's description lol) is a much better dad. Helps out where the ex rarely did, and tries to spoil me to death. I tend to get migraines more then when I was younger, when one hits...he takes over the boys 100% and sends me off to bed to get better.

So I guess things balance out. I did see a poll on here a few weeks ago that dealt with age and I seem to recall that most of the mom's that answered it were in their 20's.

  • I"m 45, my youngest child is 14, and the only one left at home (most of the time) I babysit my 3 year old gs, 5 days a week. I have alot of other grandkids that come and go. I have had some of them for weeks or months in the past. It was much easier when I was younger.

  • I am 46 with a 22 & 27 yr old & 6 grandchildren. I tho have custody of my second oldest grandson since his birth now 8 yrs. so for us it was starting all over again.
It can be tiring at times, but I am a SAHGM and do have the house to myself during the school yr and it's nice to be able to get a few more things done without having either dh or gs underfoot...lol...
