  • Yes. Talking on the phone and texting while driving are dangerous. They cause a lot of accidents and unnecessary deaths.

  • Texting yes, what kind of person thinks they can multitask that well...talking while driving yes unless using a hand free device. I use my speaker phone all the time while I drive, it is the only way I can drive on base.

  • I think that cellphone use should be hands free or nothing. Texting is illegal in Washington State while driving.

  • Because people CAN'T be responsible on their own, laws need to be passed.

  • YES!!! Of course! Texting and cell phone use-even hands-free cell phones are way too dangerous. It better be illegal soon!

  • It's been illegal in NJ, and I think it is about to become illegal in PA--hands free cell use only (I live on the state line so both states laws are in effect for me and my husband in our travels). I only use my phone for emergencies, and only accept incoming calls from my children's schools/programs--and never dial unless I am stopped in traffic or parked--and then I use my bluetooth--and again it's only if I'm stuck in traffic and am expected to be somewhere, I'll be late picking up my children (due to traffic), etc., never just to "chat!"
