babies with mohawks?

I was kinda sorta thinking about giving my 15 m/o son a mohawk, but I'd be sad if he got all the hair cut and shaved off (he's never had his hair cut), and wouldnt I have to keep it shaved or else it'll be uneven and weird? I dunno... more of a NO for now, but i'm still thinking about it. what do you think about babies with mohawks? Just curious =)

  • I gelled my baby's hair like that once just for giggles but I wouldn't shave his head like that.

  • I wouldn't do that on purpose or anything, but my DAUGHTER was born with a (bright red, yet) mohawk!

  • I was a goth chick in high school, I'm all about self-expression, but first of all, I think little boys should look like little boys, not midget punk rockers. It gives them something to look forward to when their older. Mohawks were brought back from ancient native americans in the 80's to rebel againstparents and authority figures. Parents who do that to their kids arent giving them much to rebel about. I'd rather my kid have a mohawk in his rebelious teenage years, than do drugs or get arrested. If u ALLOW him to have funky hair and clothes before hand, while cute, they will find other things, less acceptable to rebel about. I was the definition of rebellion I should know.....

I'm probably talking out of my ass too, so do what u want, you will anyway.

  • I would prefer a fauxhawk rather then an actual mohawk where you shave thier head.
